HEART CRY

My Lord, my God, I cry to Thee
Save me from hastiness, set my soul free
Help my impatient heart, Lord, to follow Thee
Every moment, every step, in harmony

Don't let me run ahead, or lag behind
Guide me to journey at Your gentle pace, in kind
Grant me Your peace, that soothes my soul
And calm my spirit, making wise decisions whole

May hastiness not drive me from Your will
Comfort me always, and give me strength to fulfill
Your mercy, new each day, speaks on my behalf
Empower me with Your Word, beyond my imagination's grasp

May Your nature shine through me, for all to see
A life worthy of Your grace, is what I long to be
Help me, dear Lord, to walk in Your way
And may Your love and peace guide me, every step, every day.
